- Yellow – Traffic lanes, aisle ways, and work cells
- Blue, Green, and Black – Materials or notices, such as raw materials, work-in-progress areas, and completed work areas

- Red – Areas noting warnings, and this color also can be utilized in conjunction with scrap, defects, rework, and more
