Manual Operation

• Attendant pulls release chain at rear of platform; the counterbalance assembly raises the leveler and automatically extends the hinged lip at top of the upward travel
• Attendant walks down the platform onto trailer bed
• Operating Range of 12″ above / 12″ below dock 

Safety

• Dual pivoting cross traffic legs for multi-position safety at dock level & below in event of early departure
• Working range toe guards close off the sides in the service range position
• Built in lockout/tagout maintenance inspection strut
• Lip keepers for cross traffic support and automatic night lock security against theft

McGuire Hydraulic Pit Leveler

Push Button Operation

• Push-button: attendant depresses and holds the raise button, which raises the leveler and extends the lip automatically. Releasing the button permits the leveler to float down to trailer bed
• Operating Range of 12″ above / 12″ below dock.

Safety

• Velocity fuse limits unit to 1″-3″ drop in a free-fall situation
• Full range telescoping toe guards close off sides even in highest position
• Controls come standard with dock door interlock
• Built-in lockout/tagout maintenance inspection strut
• Lip Keepers for cross-traffic support and automatic night lock security against theft

Push Button Operation

• Operates with compressed air – available with pneumatic or electrical pushbutton activation.  Attendant pushes & holds raise button, which raises the leveler and extends the lip automatically.  Releasing the raise button permits the leveler to float down to trailer bed. 
• Operating range of 12″ above to 12″ below dock level
• Leveler operates off existing plant air, or via a dedicated compressor – regulated at approx. 90 PSI
